    January 15, 2018 by Sarah

I’m a member of York Artworkers’ Association and this year is the 25th Anniversary. To celebrate we have an exhibition of members’ work at Pyramid Gallery  on Stonegate. Up until 29th January, there’s a great range of work on display from glass artists, painters, ceramicists, jewellers etc. The photo below has details from one of my four pieces on display, inspired by ‘Little Boy Blue’.

Knaresborough’s visual arts festival, FEVA, is nearly here. This takes place from 11th to 20th August and I’m part of Decora’s exhibition in the Gracious Street Methodist Church. Open 10am to 4pm daily until Sat 19th August, come along and have a look at what’s been created. Our theme this year is ‘line and edge’ and I’ve created several new pieces inspired by nursery rhymes.DSC_4625

Come along and see what you think – view the exhibition in the Garden Room when the pub is open! A lot of my pieces have been inspired by Russian and Eastern European folk art; I also have a number of Japanese inspired pieces.
