Together with other members of Diverse Threads, I have some of my work on display at the ‘Inspired by...’ gallery in Danby until 24th September. We have interpreted the stunning setting via our ‘Threading through the Moors’ exhibition. I have a series of pieces based on animals – the one shown here is a Meadow Pipit.

This Sunday 12th November sees the return of the annual ‘Craft-y-Crawl’. From 12 noon to 4pm you can follow a map to visit various crafters/makers at different venues around the Bishopthorpe Rd/Southbank area. Location details can be found here: interactive map. I’ll be with 5 other makers in the Golden Ball pub on Cromwell Road. We’ll have a great range of art and craft for sale and you could treat yourself to a swift drink at the same time! Then on the weekend of 18th/19th November I’m in Pen 48 at ‘Crafts in the Pen‘ in Skipton. A huge array of different makers will be there from all over Yorkshire and Lancashire. Come and feast your eyes!

I have a joint exhibition ‘Folk Threads’ with Kate Fenton at The Golden Ball which opens on Saturday 23rd May and runs until 24th July. Come along and see what you think – view the exhibition in the Garden Room when the pub is open! A lot of my pieces have been inspired by Russian and Eastern European folk art; I also have a number of Japanese inspired pieces.
